Not likely it was a race build but I remember 30 years ago I turned my nose up at an EH for $750 thinking it was too expensive for an old HOS, little did I know....

and NRMA just pushed the value up to $35,000 on my EH which is fairly original but no show winning car.

About 24 years ago I sold an LX Torana 202 for 200 bucks. All because it had a leaking head gasket..... When I was 20 I gave away my old HX and it was then sold 12 months later for 100 bucks to the local wrecker, still in reasonable shape with a fairly sound 202........ I asked about buying the HX back from the wrecker but he wanted $400 and I couldn't afford it at the time.
