Since I've got my car back from engine transplant, Its been stalling alot especially when performing u-turns (turning of steering wheel and changing gears), When I back out my driveway and chuck it in drive and start turning the wheel to take off, The revs drop down and sometimes stalls.. What would cause this? Time for a new fuel filter? :\ I often run on empty.. When Idling theirs a rattle, seems like its coming from the back of the motor, what would cause this, transmission?? Lastly, Putting it in gears.. It clunks.. Downshifting around 3rd and 2nd sometimes clunks.. Its a rolling 'clu clu clunk' Its not a loud clunk.. More like a tinging noise? When traveling at 100 or so.. Take my foot off for a second and it clunks when I put my foot back on.. I've had the car jacked up at the back and had it running and it shuddered and what not? Would this been the Drive-shaft and the joints? Im hoping its not my Diff or the Transmission.. I dont know when I had my transmission had a service.. Might be time for a service? and a checkup? cheers..
If it's only started to happen since you've got it back from getting the engine changed out then I'd say it's probably the first place I'd start.
