So when i shake the exhaust form underneath there is a rattle coming from the centre muffler like the pipes in it are loose and when driving it is a loud rattle when going over certain bumps. Whats the best fix or should i just replace the mid section?

As per previous threads (and PM's), as you engine is the high output/195kw SV6 engine, you'll be fine with any SV6 or SS exhaust, as long as you keep your stock mufflers, or SV6 mufflers (as we worked out, SS mufflers do not fit in omega rear bar with twin exhausts)

You'll probably find your local exhaust shop has a pile of SS cat back exhaust systems sitting in the corner ready for the metal recyclers - I know the exhaust shop near my work did (but they sold any HSV or SS mufflers they had at a premium :()

As wwilde suggested, gumtree is probably your best bet (depending on your location) or maybe eBay

Yeah i only plan on replacing the mid section so will see what the local shop has there or see if they can simply just repair the muffler
