Gday guys, Im looking and getting a turbo setup for my VL and just wondering if the manifold from a RB26 or RB25 would be the same, Sorry its more of a JDM type question but yh. Ive tryed looking around on google but nothing gives me a straight yes or no answer.

And its the first time im gonna be doing a turbo conversion so any tips would be really appreciated.

Cheers, And sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place.

from memory the 25/26 would be different to your RB30 if that is the question your asking as there are different ways to do things depending which way you go, sounds like your thinking of using 25/26 twin cam head on a rb30 block.

Give engine builder darren lewis in callington sa an email at @Lewisengines.com.au as he does a lot of nissan rb stuff especially head work and you be able to get any info and any parts/work needed straight from the horses mouth.

Sounds like he want to use a 25 turbo manifold because there's heaps more of them than 30 ones and they're way cheaper.

The 25 and 26 manifolds are different. Nissan changed the pattern of the flanges so that people couldn't put the twin turbo setup from the 26 on the 25. The 20 and 25 manifolds are the same, but the 30 is its own thing (similar but different stud spacing) so you're kinda outta luck.
