Rb30 thermostat

Hi there,

Im looking to replace the thermostat on my rb30 turbo and looking to purchase a nos Nissan 76.5 degree thermostat.

My question is, would a nos thermostat run cooler compared to a aftermarket 77 degree thermostat? And would the nos thermostat read a lower temp on the temp gauge? Or would it be the same reading?

if the temp is the same then it will read the same just the aftermarket can flow more so that just means it can deal with temp fluctuations better then a lower flow one to maintain the set temp
