RB30t or ecotec

gday all just trying to think what to do next on my car getting resprayed in april then i want to save up for a new motor i cant make my mind up between a rb30t or ecotec? which one could i get more power out for less?
Any input would be great

Rb for sure but if your looking for a cheap swap id go the ecotec and put some mace gear on it

RB30 engine with low Ks. If you cant find one then the ecotec will be best.
Rb30 have more performance parts available then the ecotec.

RB30 is old and small. It was marginal in a VL anything heavier and you're shooting yourself in the foot.

3.8ltr at minimum.

I'm pretty sure you can't put an RB30 into a VP, because the engine is older than the VPs

They both passed the same emmisions requirements so I beleive this is ok

Ok so far i think i will go low ks ecotec if i can get one but rb30 less electrics (i hate wiring)and turbo lol. Ill have a hunt around to see what i can get because i have been looking up both conversions and gunna need the same amount off work either way
