Wanting to get my vz ss tray re painted but I understand the tray is galvanised.

Should I be worried about the sanding process removing the galvanised coating? If so, what's more important? A fresh paint or galv and scratches?

The go would be to use raptor liner. It will hide a fair few scratches. You can probably give it a light sand and then prime it with some thick primer and use some etch on the scratches first. I used Raptor and it was brill.
