i removed the standard headunit out of my vy ute, to my surprise i find the looms placed in one spot for easy plug and play conveinice, now how do i reach the wiring loom to wire up the new head unit, do i just brake off the loom clips and pull it through to reach wires or is there another way around it???
You will need to remove the std cradle as well, then the plugs unclip off the back of that. Then all you need is a matching plug from your local stereo supplier, wire that to your new head unit then plug it back into the existing loom plug, this way you wont have to cut anything and if the need does arise you can wack the std one back in easy as. You will also need an adapter for the ariel (different plugs) Hope this helps
