Cool...TN:4.016? So the higher the Ramp Rate No the higher the end power output? Is 13 the stock setting?

OK done a bit more research on the Dyno Dynamics (DD) stuff. From what I read the DD dynos have Ramp Rate (RR) presets that cannot be changed when in say Shoot_6 mode. Selections are:

SHOOT 4 (NA 4 Cylinder)
SHOOT 6 (NA 6 Cylinder)
SHOOT 8 (NA 8 Cylinder)
SHOOT 4F (TURBO,NOS,SUPERCHARGED 4 Cylinder)
SHOOT 6F (TURBO,NOS,SUPERCHARGED 6 Cylinder)
SHOOT 8F (TURBO,NOS,SUPERCHARGED 8 Cylinder)
and modes for Rotarys

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong 'cos I often read stuff wrong :). I understand that the RR setting literaly refers to the estimated km/h per second of acceleration expected from a particular engine ie N/A 8 or N/A 6 or 6T etc. For example in Shootout_6 mode the RR is expected to be 13km/h per second and a in Shootout_8 mode it might be set at 15km/h/s. I assume then that a set weight (resistance) is applied to the rollers and Torque the KW can then be measured?

Therefore if any car is modified to increase HP and Nm by any given amount or the driveline changed in a way that would affect acceleration should the RR estimate be adjusted to more accurately record current expected acceleration rate? Does this make Shootout Mode a tad irrelevant other than for tuning? Should a standalone "Power Run" be done in a non "Shootout Mode" so this important setting can be varied?

holy **** man.... i thought i knew a little bit about dyno's, but reading that last bit i started to fade out half way through and got to end not really understanding anything!

reminded me of chemistry in high school :).

hope you get the answer you are looking for, but just so you know.... my brain hurts just from trying to read that!

LOL...yeah mine hurts too that's why I am trying to find someone that actually knows rather than just guessing. Oh I also write appaullingly and have confused ideas (to many years of cererbral abuse) so I'm not surprised that I've managed to confuse someone else...soz :).
