Ive just finished my vt front brake upgrade and i am more than pleased with the results. i was wondering about the rears tho, is it possible to just bolt the rotors and calipers straight on or do i have to modify the handbrake assembly aswell? has anyone done this or know what to change to make it work?

I got the twin piston PBR upgrade on mine and was told i could do the rears with a little trouble because of the handbrake assembly. I didnt bother looking into why tho. I didnt realy bother with it the gain would be very little for the dollars spent. I would think that you would have to modify it in some form or another. Shouldnt think it would be too hard.

Peanuts - VT brakes won't go on your ute as it's not an IRS rear end.

all you can do on the rear is put better brake pads in.

Also don't forget 80% of braking done by front brakes - don't worry too much about the rears.
