I am in the process of putting slotted rotors on and while I'm at it giving the callipers and brackets (anchor plates) a good clean. Anyway I have forgotten which rear bracket goes on which side and since they have different part numbers on them I assume it matters where they go, even though they look identical. Anyone have any advice on this? Thanks.

Should only fit one way. Or ring up holden spares and ask part number for left side. Not that hard

Not that hard maybe, but it's good Friday and Holden are not open and naturally I would like to finish the job.

are they identical, or are they mirror image's of each other?
They appear to be identical so I just took a gamble and put them on and they fit exactly like they did before.

haha silly knt. you gotta take more notice.

have a look at any markings that may have been left from when it was compressed between the other parts and see if anything can give you a clue. another way is take a good look at the shape of them and try and see if it will touch or grind if you put one back on one side and compare that to the other one on the same side

Originally I had them placed so I would remember which side was which but got them mixed up when cleaning them. All back together and everything is fine.
