- VXII Berlina 5.7 A4 Wagon
I've been thinking for some time, is there a way to make the cargo/rear door of a wagon able to be opened from inside the car? This is for a VX, but I'd imagine VT, VY and VZ would all be the same, and earlier models maybe.
Today I had the trim off the cargo door on my VX and had a look at the mechanism. The door is opened by a L-shaped lever which pushes a rod down to the latch at the bottom to open it. My idea was something mounted on the inside trim which pushes down on the back of the L-shaped lever.
So has anyone thought of this, or better still, actually done it?
Cheers, Matt
