I have a 2008 calais v and the rear flip down dvd player doesnt work...any ideas and anyone know of a good repairer i could take it to in Adelaide?

Do you know if the head linings been replaced. Ours has never been used the remotes are still in there boxes in the boot. Good luck.

Not sure why your asking about the head lining but no that hasnt been replaced

If the head lining had been replaced they could have jagged some of the wires.

ye fair enough, should have added that it gets power and comes up with dvd (the word) on the screen but doesnt read any discs. Just want to pull it out and take it somewhere in Adelaide but not sure who at this stage.

Cheers Fu, ive messaged them and am waiting for a response. Id prefer someone in adelaide thats delt with this before if possible.

You remove the unit and send it them.
They post it back and you reinstall.

The roof lining has to come out for the time being. You can still drive the car though.
