im taking a wild guess, uve checked the buttons right?, does it make noise if buttons work? or nuffin at all, theres a little clip (wires) which push into the bottom of the motor on the front, mite be same on rear and maybe not connected?

Got a multimeter? If so, check to see if you get 12 volts onto the motor when either the forward or rear switch is pressed. (up or down doesn't matter, it just changes the polarity) While you can't reach the motor terminals real easily, what you can do is pull the rear switch outta the door and use the terminals on that, it's easy enough to work out which terminal does what with a bit of fiddling. I had a similar problem a while back, checked and found that the motor had power, but it still wasn't moving. So I gave it a quick belting and it worked, bugger was just mildly siezed. However I reccomend going through a quick electrical testing process before you just go belting the crap out of things. :)

Yeah I did this with one of my rear windows. Apparently it can just be the solenoid freezing up or the contacts and giving it a good bang can knock i back into life... But run it up and down 40 or so times to get the contacts/solenoid back to life.

Just turn the ignition on to accessories and press the window buttons on the console and rear door.

If the cabin light dims when you press both switches, then the switches are drawing power.

I have exactly the same problem on exactly the same window but can't be stuffed fixing it.

It is most likely your motor/solenoid.

ye mate, the lights dim when i try tha switches, so that pretty much means its tha motor buggered ye?

is the motor hard to get out of the rear, as i have had the trim off but it looks to hard 2 get to tha motor??
