rear garnish

    just a quick q about the rear garnish on VR's.

    mine has a red one, most that Ive seen have the clear one. Just wondering why mines red lol. date on the compliance plate is 8/9/94 or 9/8/94 one of them. it had series 2 badges on it, but had the orange indicators on the taillights, not the clear ones.

    its a good question. i know the executives came out with the clear garnish..
    the missus's bro has a VS S and its red. Its not only VR's i dont think

    i thought it might have been a series 1 thing and that mine might have been a bitsa car, but i really dont see many at all.

    I have a VR series 2 and it has a red garnish.... i read somewhere that the series 2 came out with this red garnish... mine is a 1995 model also

    hm must have been a series 2 thing then. i never really decided if i thought the red ones were **** or not really depended on the day i guess, but im painting it white this weekend anyway

    and clear indicators didn't start until s2VT i think
