hmmm sweet man. its not goin into my vn tho, so im im unsure if the led lights would have the same fittings. ive tried the stop light die and it seemed to do fuk all. so i'll see wat i can do about the colour, then i'll try tinting it, if its rooted then too bad i spose haha, thanx for the help. can u recomend any other way to colour the stop lights red b4 applying the night shade?
well you can get coloured light globes from autobarn or even mayb supercheap and kmart, service stations, pretty much red orange and all that and im pretty sure they would have the right ones to fit, like wedge or regular globe types.. out ov curiouslity wat car are they for?.. i would probly just put coloured globes in if you are planning to tint because thers no point forking out for new lights if theyr just going to b tinted..
man i must have seen like a million wagons and a million utes with it done.. it looks tuff as actually, depends on the duco, if its white it looks mad, red id get clear lights
yeh it's my 71 hg premier. ive taken the lights out n im about to fix the colours up n then tint them. i'll see how i go, if its **** i'll hunt down some coloured led lights, shouldnt be to hard to find actually, its just got the 2 little pegs out the side, might even be the same as my commodore actually. see how we go anyways n i'll let ya know wat happens.
just got some stop light tint and i have pulled the light off. just wondering how do i take the back off so i can get to the lens?
from memory, you pour it in from globe socket hole and swish around to cover the whole lens in each section.
hmmm so it looks tuff as on a white wags hey... hmmm i might have to go get some somtime this week. Hmmm Actually i should finishe the many half projects im doing at the moment. WHOOO SUB BOX ALMOST COVERD. lol
Here's my Stato, Its got 4 Coats of NiteShades, and 3 Coats of Clear. It still Lights up Bright too, because the Tailights were slightly Faded, so thats the go, Get Tailights that are Faded a Bit and Tint them! And yes i do know my bumper is Grey, LOL! Its a "Working Progress"!
Looks beautiful! I'm going to go over my VP lights with a couple of coats of tint after I get the rwc done. Not as dark as yours, but enough to give the back end a bit more contrast.
