Hi Everyone! my rear window went down but wouldn't come up. The rear switch works perfectly fine. I tried it on the other door. I took off the door trim, tried moving the wire harness, banged around, nothing helped. I hear a click when I press the switch down, but nothing up. This got me thinking the motor is working fine so I supplied it power from the battery directly and it went up no problem.

Any ideas on what could be acting up and what I should check?

Maybe it's getting jammed on something on not aligning on the rail.

You probably should have just continued this on your other thread.

As it worked when you powered it directly, its obviously got a temperamental break in the connection seeing as it went down.

Exactly the same thing happened to me and it was the wiring harness. Take it to an auto-electrician.

Have a look where the harness goes from the pillar to the door , give it a bit of a wiggle as you press the button . This is a common place for the wire to break .
