Hey guys, i already posted a thread about this but was in the wrong area.

How do i go about removing the rubber boot that goes from the door to the frame of the car.

i removed the side that connects to the doors by just pulling it out.
the part connected to the frame i cant remove. seems to be stuck in there by something,
i cant get to the other side of it since the seat belt is in the way.

    REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE!!
was trying until midnight last night then work up and tried for another hour and a half.

It's been a long time since I removed them on my VT series 1 but from memory they just unplug. I seem to recall having trouble with one, I think it had like a glue holding it in. I will be going over to my daughter's place later today, she has a series 1 and I will have a look and refresh my memory but I'm pretty sure they just unplug with no special tricks.

I replaced all four looms without wrecking any of them. Perhaps you can pull the boot a little and then gently cut between the boot and the hard plastic piece against the body (with a blade). But from memory I just pulled them off, but this was about 8 years ago so I can't remember precisely.

It was super glued so I made a tiny cut and was able to get to the wire to fix it but now the problem is water can get on so thinking Cilicon? Or just some black tape? It's not a big hole
