VX Berlina Wagon
gday fellas.... ive noticed that since ive put new shocks in the rear of my car that theres been a knocking noise comming from the rear of the wagon....and my guess is that i havent tightened the top of the shocks enough....BUT....how the hell are you supposed to tighten it any more? because the whole shock just turns if i keep trying...and i tried using a litle spanner on the top bit but it keeps slipping and i dont want to round it.....
any ideas?

vice grips under the car held by someone else as you tighten them, or borrow a rattle gun/compressor and a long socket. :)

Should have a flat piece on the threaded part of your shocker that you can hold it with a spanner or shifter and tighten the nut with a open ended spanner!
