Rear speakers not working WM Caprice

Hi my rear speakers in my wm caprice have stopped working a fair bit of oil was spilt in the boot and I thought maybe that was the reason why they had stopped working but I checked all the wires and connections and they were all dry and on the head unit I can’t change the fade from front speakers to back so maybe it’s another fault

The amp is next to the battery behind the trim panel in the boot.
Also check the plug into the side of the head unit. Pull off the trim under centre console on drivers side front and make sure the plug is seated correctly.
