I just got a set of shocks KYB 343006 for the rear for my VS 95 sedan, I believe they are standard from ebay... I also need to get some springs and not sure what springs will go with these shocks... I am not sure if I can mix standard shocks with low springs or s/low springs...

I have a non-IRS suspension...

Can someone help me with this?

Thanks
Daz

Yes you can mix shocks with springs, just make sure they are the right ones for that car and rear suspension :)

No you cant, you need to have shortened shocks that go with the lowered springs

You can. ive got super lows in my car with standard shocks but you have to be careful when driving as they can pop out. once i drove over a pretty big ditch and one popped out, other than that nothing else has gone wrong.

Depends on how low your springs are, but you will be able to get away with stock shocks. My mate also has stock shocks in his IRS with King Spring SSL.

The only reason you need shortened shocks is to trap the springs or the above may happen.

Stock rear shocks on the IRS rear end can get a little bumpy with a full tank of fuel, so beware.

Hi, I have a non-IRS rear... My question here was to ask for advice on the type of spring... I would rather be safe than sorry... As i already got the shocks and i cnt find info on the model of springs i need..

Well if you don't want to go low, then just put the stock ones back in or go with some King Sping SL, should lower it a little bit and keep the spring in the lower trailing arm nicely :)
