Hi folks!!

Looking for some ideas on how to fix the rear tyres from wearing the outer edge (yep, I've tried search function until I was ready to start self harming).

Adventra VZ '06 SX6. Chewing tyres like toffee, the last set have lasted about 5 months on the rear and the outer edge are once again cactus.

I have had it wheel aligned several times, and kept tyre pressures at recommended levels.

The problem seemed to start after or around the time I had some control arm bushes replaced on the front of the car, could this affect the back?

Anyone else with cross track get this problem?

Any ideas where to start will be appreciated :)

Thanks!!

Take the car to Wheel Alignment Specialist and they should be able to resolve the issues for you.

Sounds like positive camber.

Thanks for the replies!!

It shouldn't be a camber issue, nothing has changed there and it doesn't appear to have significant camber. Especially to wear the outside edge.

Toe in/out should be solved with wheel alignment?? Seeing as I've had a few of them even if they screwed the first one up surely a different place can't mess it up again right?

And a Wheel Alignment Specialist, I thought they were much the same. Is there a specific place I should find that are better geared up for it than other places? Know of any in WA?

Thanks for your help ppl!!

I had mine done at tyre power in kelmscott after i had my suspension bushes replaced (i had the front control arms done when i purchased the car). they seemed pretty honest, they checked and adjusted 3 out of 4 wheels. take it in to a shop and ask for all 4 wheels to be done and get the report
