hey people my rear window smashd, ive cleaned most of the glass up except now theres a 1" line of broken glass all the way around the rear window frame, which is stuck their pretty good. any ideas of how to remove the rest of it ? do i just remove all the glass, or do i remove the silicone like stuff the glass mounts too ? cheers
probebly best to remove the rubbers that hold the windscreen in whilst its smashed it should pop out quite easily
yes, but now im left with a 1" layed of glass around the whole span of the window. its siliconed down pretty good. obviously i should remove the silicone ?? because they will have to put new silicon in before they put the new win dow in..
the rubber that the glass is in. Take it completely out... the glass will come out with it or it will fall out. Its like a big rubber seal all the way round the frame yes the silicon will need to be removed also
