Torque converter won't lock up. I'm a bit over poking and prodding things on the car, just done a motor swap. Anyone able to point me in the right direction to find the plug I have surely left out?

what's the temperature like when it's running? coolant temp sensor might not be working correctly. the torque converter only locks up when the coolant temp sensor is reading above some certain temp, and if it's reading too cold, it won't lock up.

Mine wasn't engaging for a while, after poking around for a decent amount of hours on it, it turned out the clutch itself was stuffed and it was just slipping when it was engaged anyway.

Really need to log it and see if it's trying to engage.

will check that trans temp switch... where do I look, on the trans itself?

Unlikely, the TC is only young, new one with rebuilt auto about a yr ago, worked fine with old motor

My ECU is the same one that was running fine on the old motor.. locked up every time at 90kph

Really need to log it and see if it's trying to engage.
Checking the fault codes do the trick?

Check your battery/reg because if the computer is not getting enough power then this can also cause this.
