Injected 5ltr VH SL/E-VH Blue 202-GQ Nissan Patrol
hey once again, soon i will be rebuilding a blue 202 and have a few questions about carby or injection and few other bits..
For a VH SL/E

1. More power using a carby or using a VK injection manifold.. carby what carby?
2. turbo, super charged?
3. yellow terra head or bore out the orginal?
4. cam shaft?
5. any other mods?
5. auto or manual? what manual box? prefer manual but auto are cool..
6. what will sond tuffer, injection or carby, fuel economy??

i already have roller rockers, harmonic balancer and timing gear.
i dont want to go over the top but i wanna spent some money but what its worth!!

i have so many ideas in my head

if it were me, I'd be using the EFI manifold, but rigging up a Delco engine management system from VN-VP. Apparently there has been a number of people who have done the conversion, shouldn't cost a fortune if you use second hand bits.

If you can find a yella-terra head, then go for it and do your research on a decent cam. After that get a good dyno tune.
And I love manuals, so yeah it would be a manual for me. A Celica 5 spd as suggested would be a good choice behind a 202

Use an aluminium timing gear and replace all the pistons even if they look ok. Those bits normally let go first.

If you're going to use fuel injection.

Don't use anything factory.

Can't go past tripple SU's for a performance 202 IMO.
