rebuild parts ofr turbo what do u suggest?

Any suggestions on what parts i should rebuild to my engine to have my turbo running sweet..??

i dont wanna run anymore then 16psi... its just for the rb30 motor.

I have till the end of july, but i dont wanna have to take the motor even though i have a crane, but what a biatch that is to do..

It's just a stage 1 turbo btw, i just want a parts list that would be enough to handle the turbo.

ps. should i rebuild the auto gearbox? im not intrested in a 5 speed.

how much are you spending? piston,rings,get crank machined block bored new rods thats the main things get a balance,cam,heads ported mains and conrod bearings.

Do u think 1-2g's is enough ? thats 4 the engine :whistling

easyist way to work it out is sent a power goal and how you want to achive it

then look into what combos you can use to achive it and what you need to do it then go look into pricing


if your just after a good reliable bottom end which will be safe just get everything rebuilt and balanced properly
possibly change the rods as i beleive they are weakness and your set

just make sure your tune perfect to suit your set up

On the reliable part, does that include the pistions also? forged is all i can find..

16psi... just use a standard n/a motor no reason why it wont last, allong as the tune is good and u keep 98 in it

Rb30 rods are good for 300kw according to some people im sure a balanced bottom end will help cope with that. Forgies cost around 1300 unless your in the know so with those theres not much chance to build a decent motor for under 2000. For a good rebuild budget $5000

cheap part idea usualy means cheap qaulity lol.save your doas and build something with qaulity

Thanks guys, im gonna run with the turbo for awhile at 6psi just to be safe.. if it go's ill rebuild.. I'm still gonna save until i get close to having enough for a decent motor or possible just buy the parts over time for the longrun...
