You may find that a VZSS radiator shroud fits in place of the V6 one allowing you to retain the important function of channeling air through the radiator

Fit straight on and of course looks the same as it would on an SS. Only mod needed for a V6 is to nick out a recess for the radiator filler neck as the V8 don't have one and use a res. Took me around 10 minutes to fit mine including the mod to fit around the radiator filler neck. The shroud was $30 something new

mmmm, pay attention to your temp guage then. i know people run without that cover without any issues but its usually there to guide the air thru rather than over the radiator. my vr for example has a little annoying flap that hangs below the radiator, and i removed it. it started over heating coz that little flap creates a vacuum behind it to draw the heat back and down. so i put it back and everything went back to normal.

    was most noticable at 80-100km/h

The shroud is a mechanical device. They are on the top, sides and bottom of radiators in most makes of car and levels of performance.

I think with 2 turbs poking out of the bay a shiny alloy radiator would take a back seat anyways lol

hmm its not that long to go to the front of the car...

    i got a big problem...

i connected the battery to turn the car over to build oil pressure, and it sparks as soon as i put the positive on with the neg connected, then if i ignore it and leave the pos on the thermo fans start stright away, the light switch for the headlight illuminates and the power window lights come on, the arial goes up, and something smells likes its burning, like shorting out... so i have to disconnect it quicky....mind you i have the key flicked over to accessories and all this happens, the fans and all..any ideas?
