went down to ASR myself today, sebastian looked at the pan and modified it to suit the bolts, it worked!!! Thank you to Sebastian for staying back in he's own time and doing it for me. Top notch :) I'll post photos up later. Also got aluminium radiator I'll post up aswell :)

Glad to see you got it sorted Good to see ASR have done Everything possible to get it fitting correctly. It would be difficult when building to custom specs to get stuff right whe you dont have a motor to with.

Can you show me a pic of what they did to make it fit?

yeah sebastian was great. ive got shots, but the quality isnt good (crap camera, black face) but you get that lol

lol im trying! believe me. i went to VPW today and bought proflow fittings for the oil lines on the sump, and fittings for the fuel rail to complete it, ill post pics up tomorrow, the engine is going in the car this weekend!!!! sunday is the day, i cleaned the engine bay today spotless, and i put the aluminium radiator in :) looks so sexy

i wont damage it, believe me. guess what.....went to VPW and TRIED to source flexplate bolts....none at all...this halts my putting the engine in :( cant do it now.....so the standard ones are no good to use?

if your thinking about reusing the old ones. DONT. theyre single use only. i bought brand new ones from holden for my VR. when i had the engine out the first time i reused the original flywheel bolts and didnt even get halfway to torquing them properly before the first one snapped. i learnt my lesson that day....
