VS Series II Executive 1997
Hey all i am currently rebuilding a VS series II as my VN finally kicked the bucket. I had a redback sporty on the VN and was hoping for a straight change over (having worked on all the old donks that were interchangeable). I have seen ALOT posted on ebay saying they suit VN, VP, VR and VS from the cat back. But after removing both exhausts nothing lines up. Anyone come across this problem?

Whats not lining up?
Extractors? Different engine.
Cat back? Probably a different outlay of design for exhaust.

Nothing from the VN will fit the VS exhaust wise except the rear muffler/tail pipe.

The heads are different: extractors won't fit.
The cat is different: cat back won't bolt up or even line up.

The ONLY VN VP VR and VS systems that are interchangeable are V8. VN-VR V6 and VN-VS V8 are the same, the VS V6 is completely different.
