Would request members with their expertise and experience to advice me on the actions as under:
My Statesman WH requires a new Drive Belt, Drive Belt Tensioner and Pulleys.
Drive Belt Tensioner:
Was wondering whether to get Genuine Holden or Dayco tensioner.
According to my understanding I would prefer Dayco since Dayco’s Automatic Belt Tensioner features a patented “flat spring” design that’s engineered to provide less operating range variations in tension.
Pulley:
Replace the idler pulley with Nuline and the alternator pulley with Nuline Overrunning alternator pulley. I have a 120A police alternator.
Drive Belt:
Gates Racing Belt
