Hi all. I have a VY exec V6 that i'm wanting to get an exhaust on for some more pickup. better sound wouldn't be bad, but it's performance i'm after.

Now i'm trying to get some advice on a good exhaust place that people here have used. i'm looking at:

Pacemaker extractors
Hi flo cat
2.5" pipes

so far i've been quoted $1000. any comments on the price or the choices? your opinions would be appriciated

Redcliffe dyno and tune is the place you need to go, for my calais i was quoted $1500 for CUSTOM made split 2.5in system mandel bent with h/flow cats, pacemaker extractors, tip and all....they would also dyno it before and after doing the work! another place down the road quoted me $1750 for an already made up kit with ? extractors and no dyno. don't know how much it would be for a 6 but i would say it'd be a bit cheaper.

there number is 3284 1925 and there located in the clontarf industrial area.

thanx guys. i'll check out that place at redcliff, as i'm looking for a place that people have had good experiences with.

also, i've since been told that the hi-flo cat's aren't as good as the stainless steel cats, and been recommended in that direction.

any comments?

personally im not to fussed on cats, your probably right the stainless ones are better but at the same time i have also heard that you can still use your normal ones and there's not a great deal of differance, i'd say talk with the specialist where ever you go and see what they have to say.

my cars at redcliffe dyno now getting full exhaust system done and i've just gone with the high flow, when i go down the sarvo to pick up the car i'll have a talk to steve and see what he has to say about em and i'll even see if i can find out the differance in cost also.
