Red instrument lighting

Has anyone done anything to change the colour of the instrument lighting?
Holden told me it couldn't be done.

I have toyed around with the idea that if I put someting like thick yellow contact film over the facia it will result in orange readouts.

I have no idea where I could find such material though.

Any thoughts?

I don't want to pull out the whole instrument cluster.

I agree. Ive been in a few VE's of a night now and the red gives me the annoyances. Green is boring and makes me think of a Commodore 64 screen, but at least its not annoying!

I have had the odd query on the VE lighting, but unfortunately I haven't had one to look at yet. In fact, if there's anyone in the Sydney (West) area that's keen, I would reward the "guinea pig" with a substantial reduction in price. Any takers??

(for the skeptics out there, please just refer to any of my customers who have had the VY/VZ mod done - never had a single complaint yet.)

No modding needed It looks hot already! Maybe if I had a blue car though...
