Hey guys just thought id throw up some pics of my ride. Its a 79 vb sle currently running an injected vn 5ltr and t700 with bw diff and 3.7's. The interior is in great condition but like anything on these old girls it took a lot of ebay purchases and wrecking yards searches. I'm currently chasing a set of door protectors to complete the outside look i'm after. Once that is done ill be looking to take the motor back to a carby set up. Ive been reading and researching so i'm fairly confident i know which way i'll go. Any way i hope you like the pics. The plates are no longer on the car they were sold off a couple of months ago.

nice one mate . im doin this conversion at the moment. if you want the carby look you should just put a carby manifold in with the injector bosses drilled out and a 4 throte throttle body. looks like carby but has EFI reliability

Looks like a nice car well done, but get that pod filter away from the engine because its just sucking in hot air.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will move that pod filter further away, thanks 5LVTSS. Still debating the carby vs EFI argument. Not planning to do anything until chrissy so plenty of time to change my mind at least a dozen times!!!

Thanks for the comments.Mate i do have spare overiders but am very reluctant to sell them as ive had someone damage one of mine before and it was very difficult to replace. if you have a set and they need repairing let me know and ill put you in touch with a guy that can insert new bolts into them.
