G'day,
Im considering purchasing a redback 2.5" exhaust, just wanted to gather opinions of what people thought sounded better?
I want something a bit meaty with a growl and dont know whether a rear resi or without one will sound better?
Dont want anything that sounds pingy or tinny, call it what you like :)

Cheers all.

Either a Redback or Lukey 2.5" will be fine, you will probably need a rear resi or at least a hotdog to stop a bit of drone.

+1 for at least something, otherwise it's loud enough to attract unwanted attention, and you'll hate the drone...

sounds better without the resinator and i have never had a problem with drone or with it being loud enough to catch the eye of the law. just my 2 cents worth

I had a VN Calais V6, stock headers, de-cat, 2.5", Lukey muffler, hotdog and 3" oval tip.

Droned like a bitch between 1500 to 2000 RPM, and thats range where I did most of my driving around town. On longer trips sitting on 100km there was no drone, any acceleration and and it was constant BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...
