If the passenger is complaining, you're not driving hard enough!

    They should be screaming...

It would've been nice I suppose. Bean counters at play... But then, there have to be differences in each model variant.
The pax seat has never bothered me. Although I probably would have optioned it if possible. I certainly wouldn't forgoe any of the Redline performance features for an elec pax seat.

I'd much prefer full electric seats for both the driver and passenger and would buy a Calais everyday of the week if it also came with a manual trans and the Brembos.

My preference for electric seats is simple, we have a mobility challenged family member and getting them in an out of a vehicle where the front passenger seat is fully electric is so much easier than trying to manually move a seat back and forth when you have their dead weight sitting on it.

Try it sometime, have someone in the seat then stand outside and lean in and start adjusting the seat back and forth, it's not easy.

Also agree tht it was prettying disappointed with no electric passenger seat. I wanted a manual and brembos so had to be the redline for me.

Don't really bother me since I am never in the passenger seat. Just don't like the look when you are walking towards it and the seat height is different when you look in. Because I have the driver seat all the way down, just looks wrong lol
