New control arms come complete with balljoints....So why do you need to do them again?
Yes they do, I was talking about the tie rod ends and the ball joints which are part of those.

So you got a little mixed up....The balljoint within the tierod is part of the tierod :)

No, I didn't get mixed up. Perhaps I didn't describe it properly. I have the time rod ends so know what they look like, but I couldn't get the old ones off without butchering the tie rod themselves.

I replaced pretty much everything the OP is going to do and it cost me just over $500 au so why would you spend $500 usd on one part?

For vastly superior quality of handling, and of ride quality.
And that $500usd is for a complete set, new.

You will find a front only, used,,, if patient, for under $200usd.

???? mine rides and handles as well if not better than it did with the factory items and my suspension was like new when i bought the car so where is the benefit of paying so much. just for bragging rights that you paid so much?
