In a few weeks I will be putting a 7in LCD screen where the middle vents are in my VS berlina. This means I will need to relocate the hazard light and demister switches, and the trip computer controls.
I was thinking the switches could be moved to the left and next to the screen, but I can't figure out what to do with the trip computer controls.
Does anyone have any ideas? Other suggestions for the general design are welcome as well

I'm probably wrong and I'm not trying to can your idea but isn't it illegal for a screen to be viewable by the driver?

I think itd only illegal to use while you are driving. It has to be wired to the handbrake or something similar so it can only be used while stationary.

Do you know how big that screen is? ^^
Mine will only fit to the right a bit where the trip computer controls are. I guess I could cut a bit more out of the dash...

I can't put the buttons there either coz I am still running a cd/mp3 head unit. The dvd player is built into the roof mounted screen

    Keep the ideas coming though

Just and idea, but I think that it would look cool if you relocated the buttons to where the ash tray is.

thats actually not a bad idea. I was planning on deleting the ashtray and either just leaving it smooth or making a holder for the dvd remote but the buttons there might be good also. As long as people wouldnt keep putting things on them and turning the hazard lights on
