Hi Mlmo , I am also in the process of making one myself so I understand if you want to answer my questions since you are selling them. I am kinda stuck on the relay plug bit, did you gut the existing relay for the bi modal or is there a shell I can use? To connect a remote relay onto.

 

Im sorry but I actually can't help you relay wise. Mine run from fuse and leave the relay in tact. Check jaycar they may have something, sorry can't be more assistance.

 

Ah OK, no worries. I did guess yours is probably off the fuse by the layout of the wires. Does it throw any lights on the dash?

 

No lights codes or issues what so ever, I've been running in my car for 6 months + issue free. Car doesn't see any difference between fuse in/out or my device open/closed.

 

Thanks for that, if I can't find a relay shell soon maybe I will try the fuse option too.

 

As I also run a fuse down line it is still protected. Good luck tinkering.
