since i put my car in at a local holden dealership, the remote mirrors on my car dont work.

theres no power at the switch, but power at the fuse.

is there a relay, or a block connecter that might be shagged/ disconnected?

if so can anyone post a picture or describe it and where it is so i can check please?

could easily be the switch itself. i'm on my third in 3 years. not sure if there's a relay, but i'd assume there is. it'll be in the fusebox under the steering column

Like TheForgotten said, it could be the switch, I know mine will work one day and stop the next. I really need to get around to replacing it.

Have also seen a faulty switch in a mates car, might be worth a try first. Takes about 5 seconds to get it out, no special tools required. If that doesnt work let us know and we can go through the wiring diagrams.

Having a quick look now power comes straight from fuse 11 to the switch. Ground comes through the LHF Door lock switch. Theres not much else in the circuit. I have heard about a broken wire in the mirror loom before, but the switch is your best bet.

nah im sure its not the switch, because i disconnected the block connector on the grab rail and checked for power on the car side of the terminals ans none of the terminals had power at them. this means that somewhere between the block connector and the fuse there is a failed component or broken wire

Fair enough. If Im not mistaken power is only applied to the mirrors when the car is at least on acc? Not sure but worth checking anyway. Check that the switch has a ground and if there is no power there, there has to be an open circuit in the wiring between the fuse and the switch. You can confirm that this is your problem by putting 12V on the switch and it should work again. If that is the case you can either trace the wiring for the break or simply run a new power wire from that fuse.

I had my wiring break where it goes through the door.
