Hi everyone,

Currently removing bits from my VP, prepping for a 304 conversion.

I've hit a bit of a snag though; how does one remove the main engine loom from the firewall on the passenger side? I am assuming I may need to remove parts of the sound proofing inside the cabin area but once I'm there what do I do?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

on the inside there should be to big plastic clip looking things, I uses a screw driver to push them in an then pushed the big grommet out towards the engine bay,, i cant seem to find a good pic of it,
Take out the glove box an side kick panel, follow the wires to were they go through the firewall,, you should be able to work it out from there

Hey! Thanks for the reply mate. I was able to get the plug out!

Now all I need to do is degass the ac, unbolt the exhaust, remove the drive train, and then the coolant lines for the heater, oh and the fuel line, and then finally unbolt the mounts from the trans and engine.

So much work >.< what have I gotten myself into?!
