    G'day,
    I have a VR S1 V6 with non-functioning airconditioning, so I thought I would remove it.

Are there any precautions I should be aware of or any steps I should take before undertaking this project.

Also I am just going to remove the pump(attatched to motor and the radiator thing, and as much piping as I can.

Is there anything else I can/should remove and is there something I can use to temporarily seal the lines protruding from the firewall, I will remove them at a later time.

    Thanks heaps.

The main precaution to take is to have the gas evacuated by and authorized aircon mechanic. That is if there is any refrigerant left in the system. It is illegal to let the gas out into the atmosphere and it can be dangerous to do yourself.
Removing the A/C will devalue you car when you go to sell it. Most people prefer to have air conditioning.
