could someone give me a step by step instruction on how to remove the bellmouth out of a VN commodore 3.8. cheers.
mate there is a number of threads on removing the bellmouth, do a search and u will find these, im gettin sick of all these threads askin **** when if ya do a simple search u will find wat u have askd.... it does jack **** mate, i did it to my vr and there were d1ck all gains but a lil more response...
He is right, it does absoloutley nothing besides lean out the rear 2 cylinders. The bellmouth is in there to evenly distribute air to all (in your case) 6 cylinders. People reckon it does something, it does nothing IMO. Anything they feel would really just be a placebo effect.
I've taken my bellmouth out. Waste of time did nothing and for the aggregation it caused... Always remember to put NEW gaskets in. Or the car will sound like it's got a massive supercharger on it. But yeah, its not worth it taking it out. But if you want to, step by step instuctions are on that "other" commodore site.
