remove ve fuel tank

    i have searched the forums and cant find a description on how to remove a ve fuel tank.. now maybe i am just a D*&K and cant find it if so please point the way if not can anyone direct me ?

    If your after the fuel pump module the 2007 VE has the access plate under the rear seat,there are threads on here about it.

    Ahhh if only it was that simple i have a wicked fuel smell and i believe a leak. Lucky i have an sv6 complete for spares so i need to switch tanks..

    Yeah i found that one on google it dosent really show everything u need to undo nor how to undo them :(

    going by the youtube vid you got to pull half the car apart might be the reason why there isn t much info on here
    but if you do try and remove the fuel tank just take plenty of pics and if you do come across a problem or found a easier way post it on here

    yeah fingers crossed but they cut a portal in this one with the tank in it. Seeing i have a complete sv6 i may as well swap the whole thing out

    Ah yes you’re right. Was detailed how-to by @monstar but moderators deleted all his pics and videos, most of his posts, same with @PIR4TE.
    What info is left are broken links to deleted media.
    That’ll teach him I guess o_O

    I removed my tank to replace the fuel Pump, a couple of weeks ago,
    I have since found out, the one sold to me is not the correct one for my car, :mad:
    so I have to pull the tank out again to replace it with a Genuine one to install this weekend.

    how hard did u find it to pull tank ? i have 2 do 2 of them one in mine leaking and smelling one from donar car then put back in mine
