I removed mine AGAIN  on the weekend, and took -
2.5 hours to pull it down,
1/2 hour to change to fuel Pump,
2.5 hours to re-assemble it

Easy when you have done it before

It was mentioned in another post that GM Dealers take 10 hours to R&R to drop the tank, and charge for 10 hours for the same,
I think the Customers are being Hoodwinked some how.
I have installed a Genuine one, its now starting & running perfectly,
starts first time now. ;)
either the Repco one was faulty, or it was the wrong one for my car, not sure, but will be returning it today.

No I didn't, it just wouldn't want to start on the first crank after it was sitting for approx. 1/2 hour, or more
The Vapor/Air pipe adjacent the filler pipe on the drivers side of the tank is a squeeze together type fitting
There is a outer ring and its has like raised bars/ribs on the outer plastic ring,
Squeeze them together, and move the hose around, and it will side off,
While holding the sides of the locking ring, push it further on a little, then pull it away from the tank, and it should just slide off,
Mine was difficult the first time I had to get it off,
But the second time was a lot easier, as it had been removed/disturbed 2 weeks prior.
