VR Berlina V6
Hi All,

New here.
Hopefully someone can tell me what steps I have to take to remove my Ignition Barrel from my VR Berlina.
Any help would/will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ian.

I don't own this model but would think it similar to most barrels

Isolate SRS airbag (key removed from ignition (save killing the BCM ect), remove both positive and negative from battery) wait 10+ secs don't work in front of the airbag as it still can potentially deploy.

Remove plastic surrounds, insert key and switch to "on" with a tiny screw driver or paper clip, find a little hole, push then grab the key and remove.

I hope this helps in some way, like I said sorry for not exact procedure.

You will need to remove the shroud from the column and then remove the whole assembly by either drilling out the head of the bolt or grinding it off. Then you can pull the barrel out.
