hey guys, trying to figure out how to remove the H/U on my wk statesman without damaging it, so i can get the center trim piece off to remove the head unit cradle

is their any tricks? i know with VZ you grab closet to the windscreen and pull back, same method with the H/U?

In my WL.. the process is sort of....
for the head unit... use a removal tool... coat hangers bent into a U shape with some little bends on each end... google helps on this one..

for the centre dash/console itself..you start un clipping it from the centre glove box when open, unclips just above the coin holders. but you need to remove the usual screws alone the way as in near the head unit. remove the main glove box and drop down the flat near the steering wheel that covers the fuses

once you have stripped back and uncliped n unscrewed everthing. the centre console itself sorta lifts up and back to be removed.. been awhile since did mine so cant recall 100%
