hey guys. i have been having this problem trying to remove the chrome off the plastic lion badges on my vt.
I have tried brake fluid and oven cleaner etc it just doesn't want to come off.
i am doing this as I'm planning to dye the plastic badge black using this method.

if not ill matte black paint them just apparently in other forums i have seen the paint will chip and dyeing is the best option. Doesn't seem that way if i cant even take the chrome off.
