my project car was originally Light Blue, but has been painted white and is now matte black by previous owner's. I'm wanting to get it back to it's original blue and want to know the best method of getting the black and white paint off
is paint stripper safe to use and be ok to paint over after or is it better to sand it off?

either paint over the top with whatever color you want or paint strip the whole lot and start from scratch (recommended)

doing it your way is the biggest #### around imaginable (maybe not even possible to pull off i wouldnt know im not silly enough to attempt it)

Sandpaper?

By the sounds of it the car has had 3 different paint jobs, paint plus primer would add up to about 20 to 30 coats of paint.......

Paint stripper is the only way to go, do u know if the car has had any damage repaired with bog cos if so that is where it will get tricky
