There should be another join somewhere on the kink that goes over your axle. If there isn't, and it's a solid piece welded together, then you're ****ed :p You'll have to go to a garage and get them to remove it for you. (unless you have an angle grinder and a spare hour.)

i dont know i havnt checked if its welded or not coz it all seemed so easy and then i looked and i was like shiit how am i gonna get the muffler through there, its a redback exhaust so i dont know ill have to see tomorrow, you you reckon where its bent into the u shape to fit over the axle it should be able to be disconnected there?

Yeah, I think genuine redbacks are joined at the over-axle bend. I imagine the bolts holding it together would be tough as **** to undo, though.

use a bit of wd40 or similer luberecant on the join and jack up the rear of the car as high as possible( not under the diff) so the diff drops down for max clearence
