Removing front seat

Ive never removed a seat from a car with seat airbags before,should the battery be disconnected to stop chances of the airbags being deployed like when removing a steering wheel with airbag?

It's probably unlikely, but to be safe just pull the airbag fuse (behind compartment at drivers side end of dash) and wait a few minutes. Well that's what I do anyway. Disconnecting the -ve battery terminal does the same thing. Just don't turn/switch on ignition with the airbag disconnected or it'll log an error on DIC (dash display).
